Rocket League
''Rocket League'' is a 2015 vehicular Association football, soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix for various home consoles and computers. A sequel to 2008's ''Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars'', ''Rocket League'' features up to eight players assigned to each of the two teams, using "rocket-powered" vehicles to hit a ball into their opponent's goal and score points over the course of a match. The game includes single-player and multiplayer modes that can be played both locally and online, including cross-platform play between all versions. Psyonix
Psyonix LLC is an American video game developer based in San Diego. It was founded in 2000 by Dave Hagewood with the team of his Internet-focused company WebSite Machines. After canceling its first two projects, Psyonix created ''VehicleMOD'', a mod that adds vehicles to '' Unreal Tournament 2003''. The game's developer, Epic Games, subsequently hired the studio to recreate this gameplay for a game mode in '' Unreal Tournament 2004''. ''Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars'' is a vehicular soccer video game for the PlayStation 3. The game was released in North America in October 2008, and in Europe in February 2009. The campaign mode of the game is made up of a series of varied mini-games, and tournaments against AI that can only be played in single-player mode. A sequel, titled ''Rocket League'', was released in July of 2015. Gameplay The game is played by one or more players, locally or online, using their car to hit a soccer ball that is much larger than the car to score a goal. Each goal is worth one point, and the team with the most points when 5 minutes have passed wins.
