Bennetts River
Bennetts River is a stream in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. The stream source is in Howell County, Missouri southeast of Hocomo on US 160. It flows south to the west of Moody, Missouri and crosses under Missouri Route 142. The stream flows south into Fulton County, Arkansas and turns to a westerly direction northwest of Viola. The stream crosses Arkansas Route 87 just south of Vidette and flows into Baxter County, Arkansas, and on into the northeast arm of Norfork Lake ( Bennetts Bayou) across from the Gamaliel Campground. Bennetts Bayou
Bennetts Bayou is a stream in the U.S. states of Arkansas and Missouri. The stream source is in Howell County, Missouri, just south of US Route 160 west of Hocomo. The stream flows southwest into Ozark County, Missouri, and under Missouri Route 142 on the east side of Bakersfield. It then flows south through the extreme northwest corner of Fulton County, Arkansas, and into the northwest corner of Baxter County, Arkansas. Adair Creek
Adair Creek is a stream in western Reynolds County in the Ozarks of southeast Missouri. It is a tributary of Logan Creek. The source area lies just south of the junction of Missouri Route 72 and Missouri Route P about three miles southeast of Bunker. The stream flows south to southeast to its confluence with Logan Creek along Missouri Route B about 3.5 miles southwest of Reynolds. About one mile upstream from its confluence the stream has been blocked with a dam and filled by mine tailings from the Adair Creek Mine ( Sweetwater Mine). Adair Creek has the name of one Mr. Adair, a local judge. Course Adair Creek rises about 5 miles southeast of Bunker, Missouri, in Reynolds County and then flows generally southeast to join Logan Creek about 3 miles southwest of Corridon. Watershed Adair Creek drains of area, receives about 46.1 in/year of precipitation, has a wetness index of 404.02, and is about 77% forested. Logan Creek (Black River Tributary)
Logan Creek is a stream in western Reynolds County in the Ozarks of southeast Missouri. It is a tributary of the Black River. The source area of the stream lies just south of Missouri Route 72 northwest of Reynolds. The stream flows south parallel to Missouri Route B and then turns east near the community of Exchange and flows parallel to Missouri Route 106 past northeast Ellington. East of Ellington the stream turns southeast and enters Clearwater Lake and its confluence with the Black River. Logan Creek has the name of James Logan, a pioneer citizen. Tornado In 8 May 2009, a derecho-embedded tornado went through the Logan Creek Conservation Area. From John Kabrick, one of the people in the area when it happened, "There was a short time when I had no idea that we would actually get through it. Jacks Fork
Jacks Fork is one of two rivers in Missouri that are part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways system. Starting in Texas County, Missouri, this spring-fed river flows in a general east to northeasterly direction through the heart of the geological area known as the Lower Ozark Natural Division. It is the major tributary of the Current River (Missouri), Current River, ending at its confluence near Eminence, Missouri. At this location, its mean annual discharge is 478 cubic feet per second. Sinking Creek (Current River)
Sinking Creek is a stream in Dent, Reynolds and Shannon counties in the Ozarks of southeast Missouri. It is a tributary of the Current River. The stream headwaters are at and the confluence with the Current is at . The source area for the stream lies in western Reynolds County in the area just south of Missouri Route 72. The stream flows south through southeastern Dent County and passing under Missouri Route A and into northeast Shannon County. The stream meanders southwest roughly paralleling Route A then veering south-southwest to its confluence with the Current River just after passing under Missouri Route 19 north of Round Spring. Sinking Creek is one of the main features of Echo Bluff State Park, established in 2016. Park visitors often swim, wade, and float in the cool waters and swimming holes of the stream. The Eleven Point River is a river in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas, United States. Eleven Point While the river originates near Willow Springs, Missouri, it is generally a losing stream upstream of the confluence with the Middle Fork of the Eleven Point near Thomasville, Missouri.
