A queen regnant (: queens regnant) is a female monarch, equivalent in rank, title and position to a king. She reigns ''suo jure'' (in her own right) over a realm known as a kingdom; as opposed to a queen consort, who is married to a reigning king; or a queen ''regent'', who is the guardian of a child monarch and rules ''pro tempore'' in the child's stead or instead of her husband who is absent from the realm, be it in sharing power or in ruling alone. ''Queen'' was a British society magazine established by Samuel Beeton in 1861 as The Queen: The Ladies Newspaper and Court Chronicle, ''The Queen''. In 1958 the magazine was sold to Jocelyn Stevens and became one of the top publications of the "Swinging Sixties, swinging sixties". In 1970 the publication merged with British ''Harper's Bazaar'' to become ''Harper's & Queen''. In 2006 the magazine dropped "''& Queen''" to become ''Harper's Bazaar UK''. Queen Records
King Records was an American label founded in 1943 by Syd Nathan in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The label owned several divisions, including Federal Records, which launched the career of James Brown. It released original material until 1975. History Initially King specialized in country music, at the time known as hillbilly music. King advertised, "If it's a King, It's a Hillbilly – If it's a Hillbilly, it's a King." One of the label's hits was "I'm Using My Bible for a Road Map" by Reno and Smiley. Important recordings in this field were done by the The Delmore Brothers, Delmore Brothers and Wayne Raney.
