Otholobium
''Otholobium'' is a genus of flowering plants in the pea family with over 50 named species, but several also remain undescribed so far. Species may be herbaceous perennials, subshrubs, shrubs or small trees. The alternately set leaves are accompanied by stipules and mostly consist of three leaflets, sometimes just one. The inflorescences are on short or long stalks in the axils of the leaves. Within the inflorescences, the pea-like flowers occur in groups of three, rarely of two, subtended by a bract, and each individual flower also is subtended by a narrow bract. The petals may be white, pink, purple or blue, often with a differently colored nectar guide, that may sometimes even be yellow. The seedpods contain just one, black, dark or light brown seed. Most species are restricted to the Cape provinces of South Africa, but some occur at higher elevations in eastern Africa. Charles Stirton erected the genus in 1981. The species in South America will probably be segregated, because ...

Orbexilum
''Orbexilum'', commonly called leather-root, is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family (Fabaceae). They are native to North America, where they are found in the United States and Mexico, south to Chiapas. This genus can be distinguished from other genera in the Psoraleeae by its "thick glabrous pod walls that are distinctively rugose and by calyx that is scarcely accrescent." Taxonomy The genus was described by Constantine Samuel Rafinesque in 1832, with the type species ''O. latifolia'', moved from ''Psoralea''. (''O. latifolia'' is now considered a synonym A synonym is a word, morpheme, or phrase that means precisely or nearly the same as another word, morpheme, or phrase in a given language. Rafinesque differentiated ''Orbexilum'' from ''Psoralea'' largely on the basis of features of the calyx. Species ''Orbexilum ...

Phaseoleae
The plant tribe (biology), tribe Phaseoleae is one of the subdivisions of the legume subfamily Faboideae, in the unranked Non-protein amino acid-accumulating clade, NPAAA clade. This group includes many of the beans cultivated for human and animal food, most importantly from the Genus, genera ''Glycine (plant), Glycine'', ''Phaseolus'', and ''Vigna''. Taxonomy Although the tribe as defined in the late 20th century does not appear to be monophyletic, there does seem to be a monophyletic group which roughly corresponds to the tribe Phaseoleae (with some changes). The earlier concept of Phaseoleae is Paraphyly, paraphyletic relative to the tribes Abreae and Psoraleeae, plus most of Millettieae and parts of Desmodieae.
