Providentia
In ancient Roman religion, Providentia is a divine personification of the ability to foresee and make provision. She was among the embodiments of Roman virtues, virtues that were part of the Imperial cult (ancient Rome), Imperial cult of ancient Rome. Providentia thus figures in Roman art, art, cult, and Latin literature, literature, but has little or no Roman mythology, mythology as such. ''Providentia'' was an important moral and philosophical abstraction in Roman discourse. Cicero says it is one of the three main components of ''prudentia'', "the knowledge of things that are good or bad or neither," along with ''memoria'', "memory," and ''intellegentia'', "understanding." ''F♯ A♯ ∞'' (pronounced "F-sharp, A-sharp, Infinity") is the debut studio album by Canadian post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor. It was first released on August 14, 1997, through Constellation Records on a single LP and on June 8, 1998, through Kranky on CD. The CD version and the LP version have substantial differences between them. Recorded at the Hotel2Tango in the Mile End of Montreal, the album, as became common for the band, is devoid of traditional lyrics and is mostly instrumental, featuring lengthy songs segmented into movements. It was initially released in limited quantities and distributed through live performances, developing a cult following via word of mouth. Providence is a town in Marengo County, Alabama, United States. As of the 2020 United States census, the population was 167, down from 223 at the 2010 census. It incorporated sometime in the 1970s. Geography Providence is located in north-central Marengo County at (32.348986, -87.778309), along U.S. Route 43. It is north of Linden, the county seat, and south of Demopolis, the largest city in the county. It is bordered to the north by Chickasaw State Park. ''Providence'' is Caroline Kepnes's third novel. It has been described as romance-suspense-thriller, with supernatural aspects. Reviewers have explicitly characterized it as "strange". Story This book is a fictional story loosely of the Sci-fi genre. Loosely, because it is cryptic and doesn’t explain the scientific mechanisms that transform one of the main characters. In the book, a young woman finds herself caught in an emotionally & geographically distant relationship with her childhood sweetheart. A relationship in which she has zero control and is being strung along with just enough reinforcement to maintain concern, compassion, and hope for reuniting with this individual even though he is unable or unwilling to communicate the reason why they cannot be together. Poor Man's Poison is an American folk band from Hanford, California. The lineup since its creation consists of guitarists Ryan Hakker and Michael Jacobs, mandolinist Tommy McCarthy and double bassist Dustin Medeiros; all members share vocal duties, although Hakker usually acts as lead vocalist. The band was originally formed in 2009 from the remnants of Done For Good, another band by Hakker, McCarthy and Medeiros; after a hiatus in 2014, they reformed in 2019, this time more focused on releasing studio singles rather than producing albums or performing live.
