Progressistas Politicians
Progressistas (; PP) is a centre-right to Right-wing politics, right-wing political party in Brazil. Founded in 1995 as the Brazilian Progressive Party, it emerged from parties that were successors to National Renewal Alliance, ARENA, the ruling party of the Military dictatorship in Brazil, Brazilian military dictatorship. A Pragmatism, pragmatist party, it supported the governments of presidents Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Dilma Rousseff, Michel Temer and Jair Bolsonaro. Largely it was the party of the politics of Paulo Maluf, a former governor and mayor of São Paulo. Of all political parties, in corruption investigation Operation Car Wash, the Progressistas had the most convictions. The party in recent years had fully embraced the right. Ciro Nogueira
Ciro Nogueira Lima Filho (born 21 November 1968) is a Brazilian lawyer, Businessperson, businessman, politician, and a member of the Progressistas (PP) party, of which he is the current president. He has represented Piauà in the Brazilian Senate, Federal Senate since 2011. Previously, he was a Chamber of Deputies (Brazil), Federal Deputy representing Piauà from 1995 to 2011. He is a member of Progressistas. Nogueira was the Chief of Staff of the Presidency (Brazil), Chief of Staff of the Presidency of Jair Bolsonaro from August 2021 to December 2022. Personal life Nogueira was born on 21 November 1968, in Teresina, PiauÃ, to Ciro Nogueira Lima and Eliane e Silva Nogueira Lima.
