Political Parties In Jordan
This article lists political parties in Jordan. Jordan has 31 officially registered political parties, but few play a real role because of lack of organization and clear political platforms. The role of parties is significantly limited by institutional factors as well. The monarchy of Jordan, king is vested with somewhat broader executive power than is usually the case for a constitutional monarch, making it difficult for a party to win control of the government solely at the ballot box. Additionally, the electoral system is significantly malapportioned in favor of rural areas. Jordan
Jordan, officially the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is a country in the Southern Levant region of West Asia. Jordan is bordered by Syria to the north, Iraq to the east, Saudi Arabia to the south, and Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories to the west. The Jordan River, flowing into the Dead Sea, is located along the country's western border within the Jordan Rift Valley. Constitutionalism

Jordanian Communist Party
The Jordanian Communist Party (JCP; , ''al-Hizb al-Shuyu'i al-Urduni'') is a communist party in Jordan, founded in 1948. Its current general secretary is Saud Qubailat. It publishes ''al-Jamahir'' (, "The Masses"). History In June 1952, the Palestinian communists in the West Bank, then organized in the Palestinian National Liberation League, joined JCP. During the years to come the main stronghold of the party was in the West Bank, and the party leadership was predominantly Palestinian. Prior to the merger into JCP, the Palestinian communists had opposed the annexation of the West Bank by Jordan. Nationalist Movement Party (Jordan)
The Nationalist Movement Party, or alternatively translated as Nationalist Action Party (, MHP), is a Turkish far-right, ultranationalist political party. The group is often described as neo-fascist, and has been linked to violent paramilitaries and organized crime groups. Its leader is Devlet Bahçeli. The party was formed in 1969 by former Turkish Army colonel Alparslan Türkeş, who had become leader of the Republican Villagers Nation Party (CKMP) in 1965. The party mainly followed a Pan-Turkist and Turkish nationalist political agenda throughout the latter half of the 20th century. Devlet Bahçeli took over after Türkeş's death in 1997. Jordanian Democratic Popular Unity Party ( ''Hizb Al-Wahdah Al-Sha'abiyah Al-Dimuqratiyyah Al-Urduniy''), commonly known as Wihda, is a political party in Jordan. The party was formed in 1990, when the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine separated their branch in Jordan to become a separate party. The party often critiques Jordan's lack of political reform, particularly of its electoral law. As a result, they boycotted both the 2010 and 2013 elections. Although, they are primarily focused on implementing a socialist Jordan and securing Palestinian independence.
