Panetolikos Football Club (), or with its full name officially romanized as Panaitolikós Gymnastikós Filekpaideftikós Sýllogos (''; Pan-Aetolian Gymnastic and Educational Club''), is a Greek professional football club. It is based in Agrinio, Greece. Panetolikos was founded in 1926 and is considered one of the historical clubs in Greece, currently participating in the Greek First Division. Panetolikos Stadium
Panetolikos Stadium ( ''Gipedo Panaitolikou'') is a multi-use stadium in Agrinio, Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of Panetolikos. The stadium is located at Prousiotissis Street and it holds a capacity of 7,321 all-seated. Its highest attendance was 11,012 during a match against Olympiakos in 1977. There are plans to increase the seating capacity of the stadium to 11,000 in the future if necessary. Nowadays the average attendance is 5,000 (6,288 after expansion completion). Even though Agrinio is a small city, Panetolikos supporters known as "The Warriors" are well known for their loyalty for the team. History The stadium has two stands along the sides of the pitch. The 2012–13 Football League is the second division of the Greek professional football system and the third season under the name Football League after previously being known as ''Beta Ethniki''. 2011–12 Super League Greece
The 2011–12 Super League Greece was the 76th season of the highest football league of Greece and the sixth under the name Super League. The season began in late August or early September 2011 and ended in May 2012 with the last matchday of the European play-off round. Olympiacos were the defending champions, having won their 38th Greek championship in the 2010–11 season. The 2010–11 Football League is the second division of the Greek professional football system and the first season under the name Football League after previously being known as ''Beta Ethniki''. Its regular season began on 12 September 2010 and ended on 15 May 2011; the promotion play-offs, originally scheduled to take place immediately afterwards, were postponed to late July 2011 in wake of the Koriopolis scandal. Teams A total of three teams gained promotion to the 2010–11 Super League after the 2009–10 Beta Ethniki season. Nea Smyrni Stadium (''Greek (language), Greek: Στάδιο Νέας Σμύρνης'') is a multi-purpose stadium in Nea Smyrni, Greece. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of Panionios FC, Panionios, which plays for the Gamma Ethniki.
