PTV (Family Guy)
"PTV" is the fourteenth episode in the Family Guy season 4, fourth season of the American animated television series ''Family Guy''. It originally aired on the Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox network in the United States on November 6, 2005. The episode sees the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) censor the shows on television after a controversial wardrobe malfunction at the Primetime Emmy Awards, Emmy Awards. PTV4 (''Paikallistelevisio'') was a Finnish television channel which operated from 1990 to 1997. It was originally launched on the HTV cable network (now part of DNA Welho) under the name of PTV, which was later changed to PTV4 in 1996 when it was bought by the Sanoma Group. Public Transport Victoria (PTV) is the brand name for public transport in the Australian state of Victoria. It was previously the trading name of the Public Transport Development Authority (PTDA), a now-defunct statutory authority in Victoria, responsible for providing, coordinating, and promoting public transport. PTV began operating on 2 April 2012, taking over many of the responsibilities previously exercised by the Director of Public Transport and the Department of Transport. Particle tracking velocimetry (PTV) is a velocimetry method i.e. a technique to measure velocities and trajectories of moving objects. In fluid mechanics research these objects are neutrally buoyant particles that are suspended in fluid flow. As the name suggests, individual particles are tracked, so this technique is a Lagrangian approach, in contrast to particle image velocimetry (PIV), which is an Eulerian method that measures the velocity of the fluid as it passes the observation point, that is fixed in space. A mobile lounge is an elevated bus-like vehicle used for boarding and disembarking from aircraft, or for transportation between terminal buildings at an airport. Purpose The mobile lounge was an innovative feature of the Washington Dulles terminal design by Eero Saarinen. Saarinen promoted the mobile lounge concept with a short animated film by Charles and Ray Eames. Dulles Airport was the realization of the concepts expressed in the film. Dulles's designers thought that by shuttling from the main terminal directly to a midfield jet ramp, they could save passengers from long walking distances amidst weather, noise, and fumes on the ramp. The advent of the jet bridge and construction of the two midfield concourse buildings at this airport negated the benefits of the system. PTV was a trademark of '' Automóviles Utilitarios S. A.'' a microcar manufacturer based in Manresa, near Barcelona, Spain. The PTV brand was at one time the second biggest volume microcar sold in Spain, beaten only by the Biscúter. Pierce the Veil is an American rock band formed in San Diego, California, in 2006. It was founded by brothers Vic Fuentes, Vic and Mike Fuentes (musician), Mike Fuentes after the disbanding of Before Today, which formed out of the San Diego Punk rock, punk scene.
