PSP Padang
Persatuan Sepakbola Padang (simply known as PSP Padang) is an Indonesian football club based in Padang, West Sumatra. They currently compete in the Liga 4 and their homeground is Gelora Haji Agus Salim Stadium. History PSP Padang was established in 1928 as Sport Vereniging Minang (SVM), under the Padang football organization. Club later known as Ilans Padang Electal (IPE) became the forerunner to the establishment of PSP Padang. However, the existence of IPE did not last long, because the Dutch Colonial Government changed it by forming a Padang football organization in 1935 with the name Voetballbond Padang En Omstreken, chaired by Meneer Vander Lee. Along with domestic political turmoil, in 1942 the Netherlands handed over its power to Japan. Gelora Haji Agus Salim Stadium
Gelora Haji Agus Salim Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Padang, Indonesia, Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. It is currently used mostly for Association football, Football matches and is the home stadium of Semen Padang F.C., Semen Padang and PSP Padang. The stadium has a capacity of 11,000. The stadium is also known as a venue for rugby union matches and athletics. History The stadium was named after Agus Salim, a Muslim intellectual and National Hero of Indonesia, national hero of Minangkabau people, Minangkabau from the area where the stadium is located. The 2009 Sumatra earthquakes heavily damaged the stadium. The stands were destroyed and there was damage to facilities, including lighting. The dressing rooms were also damaged, and the resultant condition of the field rendered the stadium unfit for use. Repairs were completed in 2012. The renovation began again in May 2024. Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Surakarta (), commonly known as Persis Solo, is an Indonesian football club based in the Central Java city of Surakarta. Piala Indonesia
Piala Indonesia () is the professional annual cup competition for football clubs in Indonesia. Its origins date back to the start of the semi-professional football era in 1985 as Piala Liga, which ran until 1989 under Galatama competition. The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) organized the full professional cup competition from 2005 until the most recent in 2018–2019. Traditionally, the tournament involves clubs from the whole layers of football competitions, which are Liga 1, Liga 2, and Liga 3. Piala Indonesia winners qualify for the AFC Challenge League the following season.
