PSMS Medan
Persatuan Sepakbola Medan dan Sekitarnya, commonly known as PSMS, is an Indonesian professional Association football, football club based in Medan, North Sumatra. It is one of Indonesia's most successful clubs. They currently compete in Liga 2 (Indonesia), Liga 2, the second level in Indonesian football tier. History Early years (1907–1950) PSMS history starts with DVB. Abdul Kadir (footballer)
Abdul Sulaiman Kadir (; 27 December 1948 – 4 April 2003) was an Indonesian professional footballer and manager. He is regarded as one of the greatest Asian footballers in history and as the greatest Indonesian player ever. He played as a winger in Indonesia's national team from 1967 to 1979. Ricky Yacobi
Ricky Yacobi (born Ricky; 12 March 1963 – 21 November 2020) was an Indonesian football player. He usually played as a striker and was one of the most prominent Indonesian footballers of the 1980s. His nickname was the "Indonesian Paul Breitner". He made a name for himself at the 1986 Asian Games when he led the Indonesia national team to the semi-finals. Early life Ricky was born on 12 March 1963 in Medan, North Sumatra. His father, Yacob, came from Manado, North Sulawesi, while his mother came from Medan itself. He was born mononymously with a single name, Ricky, and subsequently adopted his father's name, Yacob, as his last name. Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (; literal translation, literally "Bung Karno Sports Arena Main Stadium"), formerly Senayan Main Stadium and Gelora Senayan Main Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located at the center of the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Bandung (), also known in acronym as Persib (), is an Indonesian professional football club based in Bandung, West Java. 1970 Asian Champion Club Tournament
The 1970 Asian Champion Club Tournament was the third edition of the annual Asian club football competition hosted by Asian Football Confederation. Seven clubs from seven countries competed in the tournament: Saunders SC withdrew after the draw. The tournament was held in Tehran, Iran in April. The clubs were split in two groups and the group winners and runners-up advanced to semifinals. The home club, Taj, became the first Iranian club to win the competition.
