PFC Spartak Pleven
OFK Spartak () is a Bulgarian municipality, municipal association football club from the city of Pleven founded on 10 September 1919. It currently competes in the Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria), Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football. The team's greatest achievements are the Bulgarian Cup final in 1957 and the third place in the First Professional Football League (Bulgaria), Bulgarian Championship during the following season. Spartak Pleven made its debut in the First Professional Football League (Bulgaria), A Group during the 1952 A Group season. Spartak established itself as one of the most consistent teams in the Bulgarian A Group, only missing five seasons of top flight football between 1952 and 1988. However, after 1989, Spartak began gradually declining, mostly due to financial constraints, with the club only managing to play three top flight seasons since then, most recently during the 2001–02 A Group, 2001–02 season. Stadion Pleven
Stadion Pleven () is a multi-purpose stadium in Pleven, Bulgaria. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches as the home venue of the OFC Spartak Pleven, Spartak Pleven. The stadium was built in 1952 and seats 3,000 people. History The stadium used to have a capacity for 25,000 people. In 2012, the first 3,000 individual seats were installed in the western sectors to satisfy the licensing criteria of the Bulgarian Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria), "B" group. , the rest of the stands are "in ruin". Further improvements had been conditioned on the club getting promoted to the top flight. Several reconstruction projects for the venue were proposed between 2015 and present. 2019–20 Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2019–20 Second League was the 64th season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 4th season under this name and current league structure. The season began in July 2019 and ended in May 2020, but without playing all the scheduled games. The two promotion/relegation playoffs (involving teams from the First League as well) were held in July 2020. After the possibility of holding matches without spectators was initially envisioned, on 13 March 2020, the Bulgarian Football Union decided to suspend all fixtures until 13 April in accordance with the measures taken to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. On 3 April 2020, the state of national emergency was extended until 13 May 2020 and on 11 April the Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev confirmed that no mass participation sports events and full training sessions will be held until that date. Monir Al Badarin
Monir Al Badarin (; ; born 8 July 2005) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Born in Bulgaria, he represents Palestine internationally. Club career Al Badarin was born in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. He started his youth career at an early age at Rozova Dolina Kazanlak, before playing four years for Beroe Stara Zagora and one year for Beroe Stara Zagora. After a short stay at Pirin Blagoevgrad, Al Badarin was signed by Botev Plovdiv. His performances at the youth level caught the attention of senior head coach Azrudin Valentić, who called him up to the winter camp with the first team. On 1 February 2022, Al Badrin signed his first professional contract with Botev Plovdiv. The Bulgarian Regional Amateur Football Groups () are the 4th and 5th level of the Bulgarian football league system. There are 41 groups called A Regional Football Groups and 19 B Regional Football Groups. Teams from B RFG are promoted to A RFG and A RFG teams are promoted to Third League. Competition format A RFG (or A OFG) has 28 regional geographically specified divisions, as some of the regions have more than one group. 28 teams are promoted to Third League at the end of every season. there are 9 B RFG (or B OFG) divisions registered for season 2015–16. The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League (), also known as Second League () or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Twenty teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. The 2014–15 V Football Group season was the 65th season of the Bulgarian V Group. The group comprises the third level of the Bulgarian football pyramid and is divided into four geographic regions:''North-West'', ''North-East'', ''South-East'', and ''South-West''.
