John Axel Nannfeldt
John-Axel Nannfeldt (baptized ''Johan Axel Frithiof Nannfeldt''), born 18 January 1904 in Trelleborg and deceased 4 November 1985 in Uppsala, was a Swedish people, Swedish botany, botanist and mycology, mycologist. Nannfeldt studied natural history at the University of Uppsala and obtained a doctorate degree in 1932. He became professor of botany at Uppsala University in 1939, a position he held until his retirement in 1970. He did numerous studies on the systematics of fungi and vascular plants. Among the groups he treated were the plant pathogenic rust fungi, smut fungi and ''Exobasidium''. He also treated Taxonomy (biology), taxonomy and biogeography of various groups of vascular plants, e.g. the arctic ''Poa laxa'' species complex, complex. Nannfeldt published the exsiccata work ''Fungi Exsiccati Suecici, praesertim Upsalienses'' together with Lennart Holm and others. He was elected member no. 983 of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in 1955. The fungal genus ''Nannfeld ...

Absconditella
''Absconditella'' is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Stictidaceae. These lichens are characterised by their inconspicuous growth and small, cup-shaped fruiting bodies (apothecia) that are often hidden within a jelly-like mass containing green algae. The genus name, meaning "hidden", reflects their elusive nature. ''Absconditella'' species are typically found on short-lived surfaces such as decaying wood, mosses, and unstable soil. Genetic studies have revealed that the genus is more complex than previously thought, with some species being moved to a new genus, '' Absconditonia'', and others potentially representing groups of closely related species. Despite their small size and easily overlooked nature, environmental DNA studies suggest that ''Absconditella'' lichens may be more widespread than collections indicate. Taxonomy The genus was circumscribed in 1965 by Czech lichenologist Antonín Vězda, with '' Absconditella sphagnorum'' assigned as the type species. ...

Spirographa
''Spirographa'' is a genus of parasitic fungi. It is the sole genus in the monotypic family Spirographaceae, belong to the order Ostropales. The genus was circumscribed by Alexander Zahlbruckner in 1903, with '' Spirographa spiralis'' later assigned as the type species in 1923. The family Spirographaceae was circumscribed by Adam Flakus, Javier Etayo and Jolanta Miadlikowska in 2019 on the basis of molecular phylogenetic analysis. They determined that genus ''Spirographa'' is an independent lineage in the Ostropales, sister to the clade containing the families Fissurinaceae, Gomphillaceae, and Graphidaceae The Graphidaceae are a family of lichen-forming fungi in the order Graphidales.
