The Olin Business School is one of seven academic schools at Washington University in St. Louis. Founded in 1917, the business school was renamed for entrepreneur John M. Olin in 1988. The school offers BSBA, Master of Business Administration (MBA), MS in Supply Chain Management, MS in Finance (Corporate Finance and Investments, Wealth and Asset Management, Quantitative Finance, Global Finance), Masters in Accounting, MS in Business Analytics (Customer Analytics, Accounting Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Financial Technology Analytics, Healthcare Analytics, Talent Analytics), MS in Leadership, Executive MBA, Doctor of Business in Finance (DBA) and PhD degrees. The Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (''Institute of Advanced Studies in Administration'', IESA) is a private non-profit Venezuelan business school with campuses in Caracas, Maracaibo and Valencia. It was founded in 1965. It has its own publisher, ''Ediciones IESA''. IESA is considered Venezuela's leading business school, and it played a key role in the neoliberal economic policy of the second administration of Carlos Andrés Pérez (1989 - 1993). A number of academics from it (including Moisés Naím and Ricardo Hausmann) were appointed ministers, and the group became known as the "IESA Boys," in analogy to Chile's Chicago Boys. Sam Fox
Sam Fox (born May 9, 1929) is an American businessman in St. Louis, and the owner of Harbour Group Industries. He was the United States Ambassador to Belgium from April 11, 2007 until January 2, 2009. President George W. Bush appointed Fox to the post by a recess appointment on April 4, 2007. Early life Fox was born in Desloge, Missouri to Ukrainian Jewish immigrant Michel Fuks (later Max Fox), and Fanny Gold. Steve Fossett
James Stephen Fossett (April 22, 1944 – September 3, 2007) was an American businessman and a record-setting aviator, sailor, and adventurer. He was the first person to fly solo nonstop around the world in a balloon and in a fixed-wing aircraft. He made his fortune in the financial services industry and held world records for five nonstop circumnavigations of the Earth: as a long-distance solo balloonist, as a sailor, and as a solo flight fixed-wing aircraft pilot. A fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Explorers Club, Fossett set more than one hundred records in five different sports, sixty of which still stood at the time of his death. He broke three of the seven absolute world records for fixed-wing aircraft recognized by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, all in his Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer.
