Never Trump Movement
The Never Trump movement (also known as #nevertrump, Stop Trump, anti-Trump, or Dump Trump movement) is a conservative political movement that opposes Trumpism and U.S. president Donald Trump, and in general, supports a return to a more rules-based internationalist, norm-following, ideologically conservative-oriented Republican party. The name originates from how much of a possibility there was that its adherents could be "persuaded to vote for Trump in the 2016 general election". It is generally made up of "long-standing, professional Republicans or conservatives", donors, consultants, operatives, writers and commentators, as well as Republican officeholders. Our Principles PAC was a super PAC established in January 2016 as part of the Never Trump movement. Its goal was to oppose Donald Trump's campaign for president.
