Nestorio (, ''Nestório''; and , ''Nestram'' or Нѐсрам, ''Nésram'') is a village and a municipality in the Kastoria (regional unit), Kastoria regional unit of Western Macedonia, Greece. Nestorio is approximately southwest of Kastoria, at the banks of the river Aliakmon. Municipality The municipality Nestorio was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the following 4 former municipalities, that became municipal units: *Akrites, Kastoria, Akrites *Arrenes *Gramos, Greece, Gramos *Nestorio The municipality has an area of 616.072 km2, the municipal unit 336.326 km2. Trilofos, Kastoria
Trilofos ("sitting on three ridges") or Trilofo (Greek language, Greek: ''Τρίλοφος Καστοριάς'') is a mountain village belonging to the Kastoria (regional unit), prefecture of Kastoria in the Western Macedonia region of Greece, at an altitude of 1,148 metres. Geography Trilofos is located on the slopes of Gramos, Mount Grammos, on the Christofor, Konopisce and Dandaleska ridges, between the Greek border with Albania and the Haliacmon, Aliakmon River (originally – Upper Aliakmon). It lies 22 km W-NW of Nestorio and 45.5 km W-SW of Kastoria. During the Turkish occupation it was called Slimnitsa (Greek: ''Σλήμνιτσα'') and was the largest in the area with 200 families. It was divided into two slums, the "Upper Slum" ("Ano Mahala") and the "Lower Slum" ("Kato Mahala"), and had many stone mansions, two or three storeys high, built by craftsmen from Epirus (region), Epirus. Gramos, Greece
Gramos (, ) is a remote mountain village and a former municipality in Kastoria regional unit, Macedonia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the Nestorio municipality as a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 59.422 km2. Population 10 (2021). The village is a traditional Aromanian ( Vlach) settlement, named after the nearby Gramos mountains to its south. It lies very close to the Albanian border. The source of the river Aliakmonas is near Gramos. It had the smallest population of any municipality in Greece at 28 inhabitants in the 2001 Greek census. It was also the least densely populated community or municipality in Greece, at 0.47 inhabitants/km2. A small road connects Gramos with Nestorio, 20 km to its east. Giannochori (, before 1927: Γιαννοβαίνη – ''Giannovaini'') is a village in Kastoria Regional Unit, Macedonia, Greece. It is part of the community of Nestorio. Giannochorio was an Albanian speaking village with a Christian population in a wider Slavic speaking area. Kastoria (, ''Perifereiakí Enótita Kastoriás'') is one of the 74 regional units of Greece and is part of the modern regions of Greece, region of Western Macedonia.
