Chingwang Konyak
Chingwang Konyak (born 24 April 1943) is an Indian politician from Nagaland. He represented Nagaland constituency in the Indian Parliament. Currently, Konyak is the president of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party. Political career He started his career with Nagaland Nationalist Organisation but Indian National Congress in June 1976. He was Minister of State, Nagaland for Veterinary, Animal Husbandry and Jails, from 1969 to 1971. He was promoted as Cabinet Minister for Tuensang Affairs, Excise and Relief and Rehabilitation, from 1971 to 1974. In 1969, he held the portfolio of the state Minister for Animal Husbandry and Veterinary in Hokishe Sema's cabinet. Subsequently, he was the Minister for Tuensang Affairs in the state cabinet. 2018 Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election
The Nagaland Legislative Assembly election, 2018 was held on 27 February 2018 in 59 out of 60 constituencies of the Legislative Assembly of Nagaland. The scheduled election in Northern Angami II constituency did not take place as only incumbent MLA Neiphiu Rio was nominated and was therefore declared elected unopposed. The chief minister of Nagaland is the chief executive of the Indian state of Nagaland. As per the Constitution of India, the governor is a state's ''de jure'' head, but ''de facto'' executive authority rests with the chief minister. Tokheho Yepthomi (born 1 April 1956) is an Indian politician from Nagaland. He is a former Cabinet Minister of Nagaland and currently Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha for Nagaland. Early life and personal life Tokheho Yepthomi was born and raised in Aghunato, Nagaland. He graduated from St. Edmund's College, Shillong and was an active student leader in his college days.
