N.O.R.E. Songs
Victor James Santiago Jr. (born September 6, 1977), better known by his stage names N.O.R.E. (an acronym for Nigga On the Run Eating) and Noreaga, is an American rapper, singer and podcaster. Santiago first rose to prominence as one half of the East Coast hip hop duo Capone-N-Noreaga, which he formed in 1995 with fellow Queens-based rapper Capone. The duo released five studio albums, briefly disbanding after their second to pursue solo careers. Santiago signed with Penalty Recordings as a solo artist to release his self-titled debut studio album in 1998. The album peaked at number three on the ''Billboard'' 200 and spawned the ''Billboard'' Hot 100-top 40 single "Superthug" (featuring the Neptunes). He followed up with his second album, ''Melvin Flynt – Da Hustler'' (1999) before signing with Def Jam Recordings to release his third album, '' God's Favorite'' (2002). Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez (; born February 3, 1976), known professionally as Daddy Yankee (), is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to worldwide prominence in 2004 with the song "Gasolina". "Oye Mi Canto" () is a reggaeton single (music), single by N.O.R.E. The song was originally released in 2004 as the lead single from the album ''1 Fan a Day'', which was heretofore unreleased. ''God's Favorite'' is the third studio album by American rapper N.O.R.E. After six months of label delays, the album was released on June 25, 2002, by Thugged Out Entertainment and Def Jam Recordings. The album peaked at number 3 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart moving 118,000 units in its first week of release. In its second week of release, the album sold 64,000 additional copies and dropped to number 8 on the ''Billboard'' 200. It was supported with four singles: "Grimey", "Live My Life", " Nothin'" and "Full Mode". "Superthug" is a 1998 song by American rapper Noreaga with background vocals from Tammy Lucas during the song's hook. It was released as the second single from his debut solo album, ''N.O.R.E.''. At the time, it became Noreaga's highest charting and most successful single, peaking at No. 36 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and reaching No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.
