Municipality Of Cerknica
The Municipality of Cerknica (; ) is a Municipalities of Slovenia, municipality in the Karst Plateau, Karst region of southwestern Slovenia, with a population of 11,350 in 2012. The seat of the municipality is the town of Cerknica. It belongs to the traditional region of Inner Carniola. The best-known landmark of the municipality is Lake Cerknica, an intermittent lake and the largest lake in Slovenia, south of the town of Cerknica. Various watersports including windsurfing are popular on the lake. Dobec () is a small village in the hills north of Begunje in the Municipality of Cerknica in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. Čohovo
Čohovo ( or or ) is a small settlement above Sveti Vid, Cerknica, Sveti Vid in the Municipality of Cerknica in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. Geography Čohovo is a clustered village on the southwest slope of Čoh Hill (''Čohov grič'', ), which is covered in needleleaf forest. Brezje () is a small village south of Begunje in the Municipality of Cerknica in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. Name Brezje was attested in written sources as ''Vrersa'' in 1275, ''Bresiach'' in 1422, ''Pirk'' in 1438, and ''Bresie'' in 1498, among other spellings.
