Pyrenees
The Pyrenees are a mountain range straddling the border of France and Spain. They extend nearly from their union with the Cantabrian Mountains to Cap de Creus on the Mediterranean coast, reaching a maximum elevation of at the peak of Aneto. For the most part, the main crest forms a divide between Spain and France, with the microstate of Andorra sandwiched in between. Historically, the Crown of Aragon and the Kingdom of Navarre extended on both sides of the mountain range. Etymology In Greek mythology, Pyrene is a princess who gave her name to the Pyrenees. Rodó De Canalbona
Rodó de Canalbona or Pic Rodó de Canalbona is a mountain of Catalonia. Located in the Montcalm Massif, Pyrenees, at the border between France and Spain, it has an altitude of 3,004 metres above sea level. La Vall D'Aran
Aran (; ; ) (often known as the Aran Valley, or Val d'Aran in Aranese Occitan; in other forms of Occitan: ''Vath d'Aran'' or ''Vau d'Aran'', in Catalan: ''Vall d'Aran'', in Spanish: ''Valle de Arán'') is an autonomous administrative entity (formerly considered a comarca) in northwest Catalonia, Spain, consisting of in area, located in the Pyrenees mountains, in the Alt Pirineu i Aran region and in the province of Lleida. Besiberri Massif () is a mountain massif of the central area of the Pyrenees, Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. It is located at the western limit of the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. Most main summits of the Besiberri Massif are three-thousanders. The highest point is Comaloforno with an altitude of 3029 metres above sea level. The other main summits are Besiberri Sud (3024 m), Besiberri Nord (3008 m), Besiberri del Mig (2995 m) and Punta Senyalada (2952 m). Alta Ribagorça () is a comarca in the Alt Pirineu region, in Catalonia, Spain. Its capital is El Pont de Suert. The highest peak is the Comaloformo (3030 metres above sea level) in the massif of Bessiberri. Northeast of the region is the western part of the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. It is connected with the Aran Valley through the Vielha tunnel.
