Infectious Mononucleosis
Infectious mononucleosis (IM, mono), also known as glandular fever, is an infection usually caused by the Epstein–Barr virus (EBV). Most people are infected by the virus as children, when the disease produces few or no symptoms. In young adults, the disease often results in fever, sore throat, lymphadenopathy, enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, and fatigue (medical), fatigue. Most people recover in two to four weeks; however, feeling tired may last for months. The liver or spleen may also become swollen, and in less than one percent of cases splenic rupture may occur. While usually caused by the Epstein–Barr virus, also known as human herpesvirus 4, which is a member of the herpesviridae, herpesvirus family, a few other viruses and the protozoon ''Toxoplasma gondii'' may also cause the disease. ''Stereo'' is the fourth solo album by Paul Westerberg. At this point in his career, the former Replacements leader was entering a new phase. He said goodbye to professional studios and big-name producers like Brendan O'Brien and Don Was, recording the album in his basement by himself. As detailed in the liner notes, Westerberg made no effort to fix imperfections, and even included a song for which the tape ran out before it was over. ''Stereo'' was packaged with ''Mono'', which he credited to his Grandpaboy alter ego. Vagrant Records also had a limited release of ''Mono'' as a separate album. The hidden track that closes ''Stereo'', "Postcards from Paradise", is a cover of a Flesh for Lulu song. Mono, Ontario
Mono is a town situated in south-central Ontario, Canada, at the south-east corner of Dufferin County. It stretches from Highway 9 along its southern border to Highway 89 along its northern border. Its border to the west is with the Township of Amaranth and in the east, it is bordered by the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio. It was previously known as the Township of Mono. Mono is a rural community in both geography and character. It has a wide variation in topography, being composed of mostly rolling, tree-covered hills. Mono Department
Mono is one of the twelve departments of Benin, with its capital at Lokossa. It is named for the Mono River which forms much of the Benin-Togo border, border with Togo. The northern areas of the department were split off to create the newly formed Kouffo Department in 1999. Mono is subdivided into six communes, each centred at one of the principal towns, namely, Athiémè, Bopa, Comè, Grand-Popo, Houéyogbé and Lokossa. Mono Pass
Mono Pass is a mountain pass, just outside Yosemite National Park, near the region of Tuolumne Meadows. Mono Pass is between Mount Gibbs and Mount Lewis. There is another pass also named Mono less than 40 miles away in the Rock Creek/Little Lakes Valley area. Both Mono Passes are in the Inyo National Forest. The Mono Pass in the Rock Creek/Little Lakes Valley area is accessed by the Mosquito Flats Trailhead rather than the Mono Pass Trailhead in Yosemite National Park. Mono Pass is on the Great Basin Divide, which demarcates the Great Basin. The latter is the largest area in North America from which waters don't drain towards an ocean. Mono Lake
Mono Lake ( ) is a Salt lake, saline soda lake in Mono County, California, formed at least 760,000 years ago as a terminal lake in an endorheic basin. The lack of an outlet causes Hypersaline lake, high levels of salts to accumulate in the lake which make its water alkalinity, alkaline. The desert lake has an unusually productive ecosystem based on brine shrimp, which thrive in its waters, and provides critical habitat for two million annual migratory birds that feed on the shrimp and alkali flies (''Ephydra hians''). Historically, the native Kucadikadi, Kutzadika'a people ate the alkali flies' pupae, which live in the shallow waters around the edge of the lake. When the city of Los Angeles diverted water from the freshwater streams flowing into the lake, it lowered the lake level, which imperiled the Bird migration, migratory birds. Mono Village, Mono County, California
Twin Lakes is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Mono County, California, United States. It is located on the east side of the Sierra Nevada, encompassing the lakes of the same name and extending north down the outlet valley of Robinson Creek. The area is part of Toiyabe National Forest and is southwest of Bridgeport. It was first listed as a CDP for the 2020 census, with a population of 45. Mono Village Resort is part of the community. The resort attracts hundreds of fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts every year. The main tourist attraction of the settlement is the two lakes known as Twin Lakes. Both of these lakes are filled with water from Robinson's Creek which flows down from the top of the mountains and ends at the Bridgeport Reservoir.
