10cc are an English rock music, rock band formed in Stockport, southeast of Manchester, in 1972. The group initially consisted of four musicians, Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme, who had written and recorded together since 1968. The four members contributed to songwriting, working together in various permutations. Godley and Creme’s songwriting has been said to be inspired by Art pop, art and cinema. The four members were multi-instrumentalists, singers, writers and producers. Most of the band's records were recorded at their own Strawberry Studios (North) in Stockport and Strawberry Studios (South) in Dorking, with most of those engineered by Stewart. Animal Bag
Animal Bag was an alternative metal grunge band from Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, which was active from 1987 through 1998. Career After some personnel changes, the band formed around members Luke Edwards (vocals and guitar), Rich Parris (guitars, mandolin, and vocals), Otis Hughes (bass guitar), and Boo Duckworth ( drums and percussion) in 1987. After building a following in their native North Carolina, the group relocated to Los Angeles in 1989. Favorable press in newspapers, including the ''L.A. Music Scene'', which compared them to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Faith No More, helped raise the band's profile. Butch Baker (born October 22, 1958) is an American country music artist. He recorded for Mercury Records in the late 1980s, releasing multiple singles between 1984 and 1990, as well as the album ''We Will''. His highest-peaking single, "That's What Her Memory Is For", peaked at No. 41 on the U.S. country charts in 1986. Biography Butch Baker was born in Sweetwater, Tennessee. Sylvester Austin (September 17, 1929 – September 1, 2001) was an American jazz saxophonist. He had his biggest success in an overtly commercial rather than jazz vein, but he regarded Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young and Sonny Stitt as his major influences. Music career Austin was born in Dunnellon, Florida, United States, and taught himself to play as a 12-year-old. He won the Ted Mack Amateur Hour in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1945, playing " Danny Boy". Jan August (born Jan Augustoff; September 24, 1904 – January 9, 1976) was an American pianist and xylophonist. He had a hit with his version of " Misirlou" in 1947 with Carl Frederick Tandberg. August was born in New York City. He was self-taught and began his career at age 17 in Greenwich Village, had hits with several other songs that blended classical styles and Latin beats. He was discovered in 1946 in a New York City nightclub by an executive for Diamond Records.
