Melodifestivalen (; ) is an annual song competition organised by Swedish public broadcasters Sveriges Television (SVT) and Sveriges Radio (SR). It determines the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, and has been staged almost every year since 1959. In 1986, there were two presenters for the first time, with three and four presenter line-ups later introduced in Melodifestivalen 2004, 2004 (as two sets) and Melodifestivalen 2019, 2019 respectively, while in Melodifestivalen 2005, 2005, Melodifestivalen 2016, 2016 and Melodifestivalen 2021, 2021, various people presented the shows (in 2016 and 2021 as guest co-hosts in each show alongside a main presenter). Bert Gustav Tommy Körberg (; born 4 July 1948) is a Swedish singer, actor and musician. English-speaking audiences know him best for his role as Anatoly/"The Russian" in the musical ''Chess''.
