Machine Sazi Tabriz Football Club (, ''Bashgah-e Futbal-e Mashinsazi-ye Tebriz'') more commonly known as Machine Sazi was an Iranian professional Football (soccer), football club based in Tabriz, East Azarbaijan, Iran competing in the Azadegan League. Club history Establishment In 1969, Mashin Sazi Tabriz, Machine Sazi Tabriz Industrial Group decided to create a new football team by the name of Machine Sazi. Machine Sazi Tabriz football club played its first official match in 1970. In 1973, the Takht Jamshid Cup was established. The Takht Jamshid Cup, was Iran's first ever nationwide football league and Machine Sazi entered the league in its first year of establishment in 1973. The club participated in Takht Jamshid Cup between 1973 and 1977. Post Revolution 1980s Like most sporting clubs in Iran, the Iranian Revolution, Revolution and the Iran–Iraq War severely limited the team's activities. Shahram Dabiri Oskuei (; born 1960) is an Iranian politician, physician, sporting director, professor. He also served as Vice President of Iran for Parliamentary Affairs from 2024 to 2025. He was former board of directors Iran Football Federation. He founded Dabiri Tabriz FSC in 1998. Dabiri FSC plays in the Iranian Futsal Super League, a professional futsal league competition for clubs located at the highest level of the Iranian futsal league system. Dabiri is chairman of the Islamic City Council of Tabriz; he won with 105,157 votes. He is also dean of the faculty and professor of nuclear medicine at the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. The Persian Gulf Pro League (, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Premier League (, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is a professional association football league in Iran and the highest level of the Iranian football league system. It is controlled by the FFIRI and is contested by 16 teams over a 30-matchday period. Rasoul Paki Khatibi (; born 22 September 1978) is an Iranian football coach and former player who is the president of the Persian Gulf Pro League team Paykan. He is the younger brother of Hossein Khatibi, who is also a football manager and former professional footballer.
