MOR Entertainment is a new media radio network, radio service owned and operated by ABS-CBN Corporation. MOR started in 2001 as the FM brand of ABS-CBN Regional and terrestrially operated 15 radio broadcasting, radio stations in the Philippines. As a broadcast radio network, MOR stations played Middle of the road (music), contemporary MOR and original Pinoy music, OPM, as well as radio drama, Talk radio, talk content and News radio, news (via TV Patrol#Regional editions, TV Patrol Regional; available on selected stations). Since the forced ABS-CBN franchise renewal controversy, shutdown of ABS-CBN brought about by the congressional denial of its franchise, MOR resurfaced as an Internet radio, online radio station since September 14, 2020. Broadcasting is the data distribution, distribution of sound, audio audiovisual content to dispersed audiences via a electronic medium (communication), mass communications medium, typically one using the electromagnetic spectrum (radio waves), in a :wikt:one-to-many, one-to-many model. Broadcasting began with AM radio, which came into popular use around 1920 with the spread of vacuum tube radio transmitters and radio receiver, receivers. Before this, most implementations of electronic communication (early radio, telephone, and telegraph) were wikt:one-to-one, one-to-one, with the message intended for a single recipient. The term ''broadcasting'' evolved from its use as the agricultural method of sowing seeds in a field by casting them broadly about.
