King County Courthouse
The King County Courthouse is the administrative building housing the judicial branch of King County, Washington, King County, Washington (state), Washington's government. The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology is a private graduate school in Seattle, Washington. History The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology was initially established under the auspices of Western Seminary in 1997, becoming independent in 2000, and establishing itself in downtown Seattle in 2007. In 2011, the school changed its name from Mars Hill Graduate School to The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. The Seattle Municipal Archives are the official archive of the city of Seattle. The organization is housed in Seattle City Hall. The organization was formally established in 1985. The city of Seattle stores its city records here. The Seattle Municipal Archive accepted from the National Archives and Records Administration to process records. By 2002 many of the archives photographs from before the 1930s had begun to deteriorate and the archival budget did not allow for all of them to be digitized to contemporary quality standards for archives. At this time, the archival collection had at least been scanned, but many of the pieces were low quality, and the decision was made to prioritize 3000 of the 1.5 million pieces in the collection for high quality digital preservation. The Seattle Public Library (SPL) is the public library system serving the city of Seattle, Washington (state), Washington. Efforts to start a Seattle library had commenced as early as 1868, with the system eventually being established by the city in 1890. The system currently comprises 27 branches, most of which are named after the neighborhoods in which they are located. Seattle Children's (previously Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center; previously Children's Orthopedic Hospital) is a children's hospital in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. Museum Of History And Industry
The Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) is a history museum in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. It is the largest private heritage organization in Washington state, maintaining a collection of nearly four million artifacts, photographs, and archival materials primarily focusing on Seattle and the greater Puget Sound region. A portion of this collection (roughly 2% at any given time) is on display in the museum's galleries at the historic Naval Reserve Armory in Lake Union Park.
