LeVert Albums
LeVert was an American R&B vocal group from Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Formed in 1983, LeVert was composed of Sean and Gerald Levert (sons of Eddie Levert, founder and lead singer of R&B/Soul vocal group O'Jays) and Marc Gordon.Wells, Chris (1986) "It's in the Blood", ''Echoes'', 8 November 1986, p. 5 Biography The group released their first single, "I'm Still", for Harry Coombes's Tempre label. Rhythm And Blues
Rhythm and blues, frequently abbreviated as R&B or R'n'B, is a genre of popular music that originated within African American communities in the 1940s. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100, also known as simply the Hot 100, is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), online streaming, and radio airplay in the U.S. A new chart is compiled and released online to the public by ''Billboard''s website on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday, when the printed magazine first reaches newsstands. "Casanova" is a song by American R&B vocal group LeVert, written and produced by Reggie Calloway. Released as a single in 1987, it reached number five on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart and number nine on the UK Singles Chart—LeVert's only top-40 hit on either chart. It was the first new jack swing song to reach number one on the ''Billboard'' Hot Black Singles chart, topping the chart for two weeks.
