LaSexta Original Programming
La Sexta (; ; stylised as laSexta) is a privately owned Spanish free-to-air television channel that was founded on 18 March 2001 as Beca TV and began broadcasting on 1 April 2001. By 21 July 2003, the channel ran into debt and was shut down, but two years later in 2005, it was replaced by a new channel called La Sexta that began test transmissions on 25 November 2005, and a year later, it started broadcasting officially on 27 March 2006. The channel's programming is generalist, however, there is an emphasis on humour and entertainment. The channel broadcasts a large amount of American and sports programming, and in recent years it has covered political events such as elections, including extensive debate through three key programmes: ''Al rojo vivo'' (''Red-hot''), ''El objetivo'' (''The Lens'') and '' Salvados'' (''Saved''). In high-definition television (HDTV) and video display technology, 1080i is a video display format with 1080 lines of vertical resolution and Interlaced video, interlaced scanning method. This format was once a standard in HDTV. It was particularly used for broadcast television because it can deliver high-resolution images without needing excessive bandwidth. This format is used in the SMPTE 292M standard. Definition The number "1080" in 1080i refers to the number of horizontal lines that make up the vertical resolution of the display. Each of these lines contributes to the overall detail and clarity of the image. The letter "i" stands for Interlaced video, interlaced. This is a technique where the image is not displayed all at once. Instead, the frame is split into two fields. One field contains the odd-numbered lines, and the other field contains the even-numbered lines. ''BuenAgente'' is a Spanish comedy television series that originally aired on LaSexta from 5 May 2011 to 2 December 2011. The cast is led by Antonio Molero, Malena Alterio, Arturo Valls, Carmen Ruiz, Patricia Montero and Raúl Fernández. Premise Lola tells her husband Sebas that she is leaving him. Sebas does not give up and moves to a new residence (together with Olivia and Ana) near Lola's to try to be closer to his two children, Nata and Alex. The police station where Sebas works in is also welcoming new agents.
