Kings (Nova Scotia Provincial Electoral District)
Kings was a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada that, at the time of its dissolution, elected two members to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. It existed from 1867 until 1956, when Kings County was divided into the three electoral districts of Kings North, Kings South and Kings West. Kingdon Chapple-Wilson (born 1991), known professionally as Kings, is a New Zealand rapper, record producer, singer and songwriter. He has been producing music under his self-run label Arch Angel Records since 2018, and holds the record for longest-running No. 1 single in New Zealand for his 2016 song "Don't Worry Bout' It" ic Early life Kings is of Māori and Samoan ethnicity. The Kings
The Kings are a Canadian rock band formed in 1977 in Oakville, Ontario. They are best known for their 1980 song "This Beat Goes On/Switchin' To Glide", which was a hit in the United States and Canada. Recording history The Kings were formed in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Oakville, Ontario in the late 1970s. The original lineup included David Diamond, bass, lead vocals; Mister Zero (aka John Picard, listed as Aryan Zero in the original "Kings Are Here" LP liner notes), guitar; Sonny Keyes, keyboards and vocals; and Max Styles (drums), with Zero and Diamond serving as the main songwriters with contributions from Keyes. The Kings were originally known as WhistleKing and rehearsed, performed club gigs, and wrote a considerable number of songs for more than three years. Kings Family Restaurants is a chain of family restaurants based in North Versailles, Pennsylvania. As of May 2025, the company operates 3 locations in Pennsylvania. Kings logo has scarlet colored lettering, with a saffron outline. History Kings was founded in 1967, when Hartley King purchased a restaurant called the "Pig-N-Go" in North Versailles, Pennsylvania and renamed it to "Kings Country Shoppes." He later changed the name to Kings Family Restaurants to more clearly indicate what kind of business it was. By 1980 the number of restaurants had grown to 7, and 24 by 1990.
