Khar, Mumbai
Khar (Marathi pronunciation: ʰaːɾ is an affluent suburb of Mumbai, north of Bandra and south of Santacruz, Mumbai. Originally one of the 'villages' that made up the larger Bandra, the present suburb is divided into Khar West and Khar East areas. It is serviced by Khar Road railway station of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. It is an area within convenient distances of several schools, restaurants, parks, promenades and shopping centres. Khar, Bajaur
Khar (, ''X̌ār''), also spelled Khaar, is the headquarters of Bajaur District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Khar was one of the largest towns in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (merged into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2018). It lies near the border with Afghanistan. The headquarters of the Bajaur Scouts are located in the town. A civil colony is located in the town and this place is the court of Bajaur. Khar () is a village development committee (VDC) of Darchula District in the Mahakali Zone of Far-Western Development Region, Nepal. Geographically khar is located 29.79 N and 80.64 E, its nearest border to the district headquarters is Dallekh which is 10- 12 kilometer north east to the Darchula. The Khar VDC is surrounded by Sipti and Dhuligada VDC to the East and South, Katai, Nepal, Katai to the West, and Eyarkot to the North. Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar (; born 2 August 1937) is a Pakistani politician and feudal lord who has previously served as the Chief Minister of Punjab and Governor of Punjab. Early life and education He was born on 2 August 1937 in Sanawan in Kot Addu, Punjab to a wealthy landowning family belonging to the Khar clan, of the larger Kharal tribe. From his maternal side, he is a descendant of Khawaja Suleman Taunsvi of Taunsa Sharif. He received his education from Aitchison College, Lahore.
