The Palloseura Kemi Kings is a Finnish football team based in the town of Kemi, that competes in the Kolmonen. The club have spent three seasons in the top flight in their history. History The club was established on October 21, 1999. Kemi Kings was created out of a merger between Kemin Palloseura (KePS), Kemin Pallotoverit-85 (KPT-85) and Visan Pallo. All three teams continue only as junior teams–having younger than B-juniors–while PS Kemi took over A and B juniors. The best achievement of PS Kemi Kings so far has been reaching eighth place in the Finnish Cup competition 2006. The team also played in Finnish Cup's small final, but lost it to Kultsu FC after the penalty shootout. In the 2007 season PS Kemi Kings won the Kakkonen's C-sector and were promoted to the second division, the Ykkönen. Kolmonen
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fifth level in the Finnish football league system, league system of Finnish football and comprises 108 Finland, Finnish football (soccer), football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (''Number Three'' in English and ''Trean'' in Swedish). Until the end of 2023 season, Kolmonen was the fourth level in the pyramid, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kolmonen fell down one level, starting in 2024. The competition There are 108 clubs in the Kolmonen, divided in 10 groups of 8 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once on their home ground and once on that of their opponents. Veikkausliiga () is a professional association football league in Finland and the highest level of the Finnish football league system. The league comprises the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Kakkonen or II divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. Until the end of 2023, ''Kakkonen'' was the third-highest level in Finland, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kakkonen also dropped down one level in the league pyramid. The new fourth-tier Kakkonen is divided to three groups, each consisting of 10 teams. Mark Edward Ellis (born 6 January 1962) is an English former professional footballer who played the majority of his league career for his hometown club Bradford City as a left winger. Career Before being taken as a non-contract player for Bradford City in 1980, Ellis first caught their attention in 1978 while playing as an amateur for the junior club, Trinity Athletic. Mark then made his professional debut as a substitute on 11 April, 1980 in a 3–3 draw with Wigan Athletic. He later signed as a full-time professional the following month.
