Karin Family
The Karin family or Karin cluster is an asteroid family and sub-group of the Koronis family. It consists of at least 90 main-belt asteroids. What makes them special is that scientists have used the orbits of 13 members to calculate backwards until they were all found to share the same orbit — that of the parent body from which they all originated. The family is named for its largest member, 832 Karin, which has a diameter of about . It represents about 15–20% of the mass of the original body which had an estimated diameter of . (832) Karin is an S-type asteroid. (4507) 1990FV was originally thought to be a member of the family but was identified in 2004 as an interloper. The other members have diameters in the 1–7 km range (0.6–4.3 miles). The family is believed to have been created 5.8 ± 0.2 million years ago,

Citroën Karin
The Citroën Karin was a concept car presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1980. It featured a striking, pyramidal design by Trevor Fiore. The exterior of the car incorporated flush glass panels, faired rear wheels, and butterfly doors. The roof of the Karin was only the size of an A3 sheet of paper due to its truncated pyramid shape. One of the Karin's most noticeable interior features was the unconventional three-seat layout with the driver located in the middle of the two passengers. Karin A
The ''Karine A'' affair, also known as Operation "Noah's Ark" (), was an Israeli military action in January 2002 in which the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) forces seized MV ''Karine A'', which, according to the IDF, was a Palestinian freighter in the Red Sea. The vessel was found to be carrying 50 tons of weapons, including short-range Katyusha rockets, antitank missiles, and high explosives. Background Prior investigation had revealed that the captain of the vessel was Colonel Omar Akawi, a Fatah activist since 1976 and former member of the Palestinian Authority. According to '' Lloyd's List'', which tracks worldwide shipping records, the ship was purchased on August 31, 2001 from a Lebanese company by the Palestinian Authority, under the name of Adel Mughrabi. The alleged purchaser of the weapons, Mughrabi (aka Adel Salameh), was a former member of Yassir Arafat's staff until the early 1980s "when he was dismissed for conducting private business which conflicted with ...

Collide (band)
Collide is an American industrial music duo formed in Los Angeles in 1992, that has incorporated elements of trip hop, synthpop and music from the Middle East into their sound. Collide's debut album, '' Beneath the Skin'', was released in 1996, followed by a remix album, '' Distort'', in 1998. Dissatisfied with the music industry, Collide started their own record label, Noiseplus Music, and in 2000, they released their second studio album, '' Chasing the Ghost''. Three years later, they released their third studio album, ''Some Kind of Strange''. The following year, the band released another remix album, '' Vortex'', containing remixes by numerous remix artists, including Charlie Clouser and Rhys Fulber. Joining kaRIN and Statik this time around, and for their first live performances a little later in the year, were Scott Landes ...

House Of Karin
The House of Karen (; ; , or ), also known as Karen-Pahlav (), was one of the Seven Great Houses of Iran during the rule of Parthian and Sasanian Empires. The seat of the dynasty was at Nahavand, about 65 km south of Ecbatana (present-day Hamadan, Iran). Members of the House of Karen were of notable rank in the administrative structure of the Sassanian empire in multiple periods of its four-century-long history. Origin and history The Karens, Karan-Vands, Qarinvand dynasty or Karen-Pahlevi, as they are also called, claimed descent from Karen, a figure of folklore and son of the equally mythical Kaveh the Blacksmith. Their historical origin, however, may be that the Karens, along with the House of Mihran, were descended from the Arsacids. According to Movses Khorenatsi, this descent was via one of the three sons of Phraates IV, also named Karen. The fact that ''Karen'' may also have been among the family names of the Arsacid dynasty may give credence to this theory. T ...
