J.C.Staff
is a Japanese animation studio founded in January 1986 by Tomoyuki Miyata, who previously worked at Tatsunoko Production. The studio's first release was '' Yōtōden'' in 1987. Shakugan No Shana
, also known simply as , is a Japanese light novel series written by Yashichiro Takahashi with illustrations by Noizi Ito. ASCII Media Works published 27 novels from November 2002 to November 2023 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The story focuses on Yuji Sakai, a high school boy who becomes involved in an age-old conflict between forces of balance and imbalance in existence; in the process, he befriends a fighter for the balancing force and names her "Shana". The series also incorporates fantasy and slice of life elements. Two manga adaptations were published by ASCII Media Works in ''Dengeki Daioh'' and ''Dengeki Maoh''. Between 2005 and 2012, the series was adapted by J.C.Staff into three 24-episode anime television series, a four-episode original video animation (OVA) series, an animated film, and a standalone OVA episode. The Familiar Of Zero
is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Noboru Yamaguchi, with illustrations by Eiji Usatsuka. Media Factory published 20 volumes between June 2004 and February 2011. The series was left unfinished due to the author's death in 2013, but was later concluded in two volumes released in February 2016 and February 2017 with a different author, making use of notes left behind by Yamaguchi. The story features several characters from the second year class of a magic academy in a fictional magical world with the main characters being the inept mage Louise and her familiar from Earth, Saito Hiraga. Between 2006 and 2012, the series was adapted by J.C.Staff into four anime television series and an additional original video animation episode. A Certain Scientific Railgun
is a Japanese manga series written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Motoi Fuyukawa, which began serialization in the April 2007 issue of ASCII Media Works' '' Dengeki Daioh'' magazine. The manga is a spin-off of Kamachi's ''A Certain Magical Index'' light novel series, taking place before and during the events of the main story. Seven Seas Entertainment began publishing the series in North America in June 2011. Azumanga Daioh
is a Japanese ''yonkoma'' comedy manga series written and illustrated by Kiyohiko Azuma. It was serialized from February 1999 to May 2002 in the monthly magazine ''Dengeki Daioh'' by MediaWorks (publisher), MediaWorks; three additional chapters were published in Shogakukan's ''Monthly Shōnen Sunday'' in May 2009 to celebrate the manga's tenth anniversary. The manga was first released in English by ADV Manga, and later re-issued by Yen Press. An anime television adaptation titled ''Azumanga Daioh: The Animation'' was produced by J.C.Staff and aired in Japan between April and September 2002, consisting of 130 four-minute segments compiled into 26 episodes. A Certain Magical Index
is a Japanese light novel series written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Kiyotaka Haimura, which has been published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint since April 2004 in a total of three separate series. The first ran from April 2004 to October 2010, the second from March 2011 to July 2019, and the third from February 2020 to present. The plot is set in a world where humans called espers possess supernatural abilities. The light novels focus on Toma Kamijo, a young high school student in Academy City with the ability to cancel other espers' powers, as he encounters an English nun named Index. is a Japanese light novel series by Yuyuko Takemiya, with illustrations by Yasu. The series includes 10 novels released between March 10, 2006, and March 10, 2009, published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. Three volumes of a spin-off light novel series were also created, aptly titled ''Toradora Spin-off!''. A manga adaptation by Zekkyō started serialization in the September 2007 issue of the shōnen manga magazine '' Dengeki Comic Gao!'', published by MediaWorks.
