Installation is a Christian liturgical act that formally allows a clergy, cleric to assume the office of his appointed position at a particular place such as a cathedral. Between seventy-three and seventy-nine days after the presidential election, the president-elect of the United States is inaugurated as president by taking the presidential oath of office.
