Iffou
Iffou Region is one of the 31 Regions of Ivory Coast, regions of Ivory Coast. Since its establishment in 2011, it has been one of the regions in Lacs District. The seat of the region is Daoukro, and the region's population in the 2021 census was 378,560. Iffou is currently divided into four departments of Ivory Coast, departments: Daoukro Department, Daoukro, M'Bahiakro Department, M'Bahiakro, Ouellé Department, Ouellé, and Prikro Department, Prikro. Daoukro
Daoukro is a town in east-central Ivory Coast. It is a sub-prefecture of and the seat of Daoukro Department. It is also the seat of Iffou Region in Lacs District. Daoukro is also a commune. M'Bahiakro Department is a department of Iffou Region in Lacs District, Ivory Coast. In 2021, its population was 78,369 and its seat is the settlement of M'Bahiakro. The sub-prefectures of the department are Bonguéra, Kondossou, and M'Bahiakro. History M'Bahiakro Department was created in 1985 as a first-level subdivision via a split-off from Bouaké Department. In 1997, regions were introduced as new first-level subdivisions of Ivory Coast; as a result, all departments were converted into second-level subdivisions.
