A cadaver, often known as a corpse, is a Death, dead human body. The human skeleton is the internal framework of the human body. It is composed of around 270 bones at birth – this total decreases to around 206 bones by adulthood after some bones get fused together. Human Remains was an American grindcore band, formed in 1989 in New Jersey. The band featured the vocalist Paul Miller, the guitarists Steve Procopio and James Baglino, as well as the drummer Dave Witte, who is also known for his work for Discordance Axis, Burnt by the Sun, and Atomsmasher. ''Human Remains'' is the first studio album by the UK heavy metal band Hell, released on Friday 13 May 2011 by Nuclear Blast Records. Overview The album contains re-recorded versions of songs originally performed by the band during the period 1982–1986, with minor arrangement changes and updates, along with the addition of new keyboard, orchestral, choral and soundscape parts added by Kev Bower. The album was pieced together over a 3-year period principally as a 'hobby project' during occasional periods of downtime at Andy Sneap's Backstage Studios, a converted 300-year-old dairy farm in Derbyshire, England. Sneap funded the entire project out of his own pocket and has been instrumental in the band's resurrection. The recordings were completed with neither hope nor aspirations of any outcome, and the original intention was to produce just a few CDR copies for the bandmembers, close friends and family. ''Human Remains'' is a British black comedy television series written by and starring Rob Brydon and Julia Davis that aired in 2000. Each episode documented the relationship of a different couple, all of whom were played by Brydon and Davis and were unhappy, in the style of a fly-on-the-wall documentary. The show's humour derives from such bleak topics as domestic violence, chronic depression and death. Davis later used some of these themes in her solo project '' Nighty Night''. Ruth Jones, who would later work with Davis in ''Nighty Night'', appears in the third episode.
