Hoy (from Old Norse language, Old Norse , meaning "high island") is an island in Orkney, Scotland, measuring – the second largest in the archipelago, after Orkney Mainland, Mainland. "Wrapped" is a song written by the Peruvian singer and songwriter Gian Marco and sung by Gloria Estefan, released as the first single from her tenth studio album '' Unwrapped''. The single returned commercial success to Gloria, having charted in various countries. Hoy Field
David F. Hoy Field, usually referred to simply as Hoy Field, was a baseball field at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. It was home to the Big Red baseball team from 1922 to 2022, when the team moved to a newly constructed facility east of campus, Booth Field. The former Hoy Field was demolished in 2023 to make way for a new building for the Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science. Description Hoy Field was located just west of Schoellkopf Field and east of the Engineering Quad on the southern end of Cornell's central campus. The dimensions of the field from home plate to the outfield fence were 315 feet in left field, 405 feet in center field, and 325 feet in right field. Seating capacity was about 500. Hoy Chee Wong (August 23, 1920 – July 30, 2009), known affectionally as Mr Hoy, was a Hong Kong-born American bartender and media personality in New York City. He was believed to be the oldest person to hold such a position in New York prior to his death. He served numerous high profile clientele, including film star Anthony Quinn. Biography Early life, national service and early career Wong was born in Sha Tau Kok, a closed town in British Hong Kong, in August 1920, though Wong claimed to have been born in August 1916. Hoy Sound
Hoy Sound is a body of salt water subject to tidal currents situated south of the town of Stromness in the Orkney archipelago of Scotland. The sound lies north of the island of Hoy, Orkney, Hoy and to the south of Mainland Orkney. To the west are the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the natural harbour of Scapa Flow is to the east.
