Arthur Hockaday
Sir Arthur Patrick Hockaday, KCB, CMG (17 March 1926 – 21 August 2004) was an English civil servant. Educated at St John's College, Oxford, he entered the civil service in 1949 as an Admiralty official. Between 1962 and 1965, he was private secretary to the Secretary of State for Defence. He was then seconded to NATO before returning to the Ministry of Defence in 1969 and then serving in the Cabinet Office from 1972 to 1973, when he was appointed deputy secretary for policy at the Ministry of Defence. He was then Second Permanent Secretary from 1976 to 1982. From 1982 to 1989, he was Director-General of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission."Sir Harold Parker"

Dave Hockaday
David Hockaday (born 9 November 1957) is an English professional footballer who is currently Head of Male Football at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. He has previously worked as a manager at Leeds United, Forest Green Rovers, Kidderminster Harriers and in a caretaker capacity at Coventry City. A former professional footballer, Hockaday played for Blackpool, Hull City, Shrewsbury Town, Stoke City and Swindon Town. as a right-back. After his playing career ended he helped establish a football academy at Cirencester, as well as spending time as first team coach at Watford and as youth team coach at Southampton. He also spent four years as manager of Conference Premier side Forest Green Rovers. In June 2014, Hockaday became the new head coach of Leeds United. Jim Hockaday
James E. Hockaday (born March 7, 1964) is an American former professional football player who played one season with the New England Steamrollers of the Arena Football League. He played college football at the University of Georgia. Early life and college James E. Hockaday was born on March 7, 1964, in Nashville, Tennessee. He played high school football at Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. He helped them win the Class AA state title in both 1980 and 1981. Hockaday caught 39 touchdowns during his high school career, which was the fourth-most all-time in the country. The ''Knoxville News Sentinel'' named Hockday the No. 1 prospect in Tennessee his senior year. In 2024, ''The Tennessean'' named Hockaday to their all-time Brentwood Academy football team. Head coach Johnny Majors of the Tennessee Volunteers tried to recruit Hockaday to play college football at the University of Tennessee. Mary Hockaday
Anne Mary Hockaday (born 31 May 1962) is a British journalist and academic administrator. Since October 2022, she has been Master of Trinity Hall, Cambridge. She was previously head of the BBC Multimedia Newsroom, and controller of BBC World Service English. Early life Hockaday was born in Oxford, attending Oxford High School, an all-girls private school. She studied English at the University of Cambridge where she was an undergraduate student of Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Then, as a Fulbright Scholar, she studied journalism (MA) at New York University. Career She joined the BBC as a World Service production trainee in 1986. She worked as a correspondent in Prague in the early 1990s and as a reporter, editor, producer for World Service news output.
