Hillsboro High School is a public secondary school in Hillsboro, Kansas, United States. It is one of three schools operated by Hillsboro USD 410 school district, and is the sole public high school for the communities of Hillsboro, Lehigh, Durham, and nearby rural areas of Marion County. History In 1961, Reimer Stadium was built on the south side of Tabor College campus and named after former athletic director Del Reimer. In 2008, the old stadium was demolished then replaced by Joel Wiens Stadium in 2009, which was a joint venture between Tabor College and Hillsboro USD 410. The new 3,000-seat stadium includes new artificial football and soccer turf, synthetic track and a throwing area for field events, new bleachers on the home side, a new press box, and new concession stand and restroom facilities. Hillsboro High School is a public high school located in Hillsboro, Missouri. It is the only high school in the Hillsboro R-3 School District. About Hillsboro High school has approximately 1,140 students of which only 3% are from ethnic minorities. 25% of the student body is economically disadvantaged and the school scored 80% proficient in reading and 47% in math. Controversy In September 2015, the high school experienced a large number of parents and students protesting against the right of a pre-operation transgender student, Lila Perry, to use the girls' locker room and restrooms. Students of the High school started a walkout in support of banning Lily Perry from the girls' bathroom and locker room. Perry was offered a separate gender-neutral bathroom in response to her request, but refused. Many of the students that participated in the walkout did so simply to leave school. Hillsboro High School (HHS, colloquially Hilhi) is a public high school in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States, and is the oldest high school in the Hillsboro School District. It is also the smallest high school in the district. History In September 1908, tenth grade was added to the Hillsboro school district, with classes held on the top floor of the school. Eleventh and twelfth grades were soon added, and in June 1911 the first students to complete four years of high school graduated. This class totaled five students, consisting of four girls and one boy. In September 1911, the school added Manual labour, manual training and domestic science courses to the curriculum. That same year, voters approved of a $50,000 bond measure to pay for constructing a high school building, with construction completed in 1913 at a cost of $40,000 for the three-story building. Hillsboro High School is a comprehensive high school in Nashville, Tennessee. Established in 1939, the school is one of fifteen high schools in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. The school offers the IB Diploma Programme. History Hillsboro High School officially opened October 22, 1939, with an enrollment of 164 students and seven faculty members. Initially, the school served a rural area. Later population increases, re-zoning, the Vocational Educational Act, and 20th century influences have resulted in changes from a two-story red brick building in a pastoral setting to a set of massive white buildings which were designed by nationally recognized architects.
