Julie Hickson
Julie Hickson is an American film producer and screenwriter. She helped write a 43-page story treatment for Tim Burton's 1989 film ''Batman'' in 1986. Prior to this, she produced Burton's 1983 television special ''Hansel and Gretel'' (also wrote) and his 1984 short film '' Frankenweenie''. A Hickson Compact Group (abbreviation: HCG) is a collection of Galaxy, galaxies designated as published by Paul Hickson in 1982. The most famous group on Hickson's list of 100 objects is HCG 92, Stephan's Quintet. Hickson & Welch was a British chemicals company based in Castleford. Whilst the firm was operating in Castleford, it was beset by three separate explosions in 1926, 1930, and 1992. The company was sold to Arch Chemicals in 2000, and the site was closed six years later. At one point during the 20th century, it was the UK's largest producer of DDT.
