Roadkill is a wild animal that has been killed by collision with motor vehicles. The New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (colloquially, "NJSPCA Humane Police") was an agency that promoted animal welfare, investigated cases of animal cruelty, and enforced animal welfare legislation in New Jersey. Red Frogs Australia is a Christian Youth charity run by volunteers known as the 'Red Frogs Crew'. The volunteers participate in many events that are attended by school leavers and university students such as schoolies week. Since 1997, Allens' has donated over 24 tonnes of the red frog confectionery every year. The Crew's vision is to "safeguard a generation" that is outworked through education, early intervention and harm minimisation. Johannes Peter "Hans" Riegel, also known as Hans Riegel Jr. (10 March 1923 – 15 October 2013), was a German entrepreneur who owned and operated the confectioner Haribo since 1946. Biography Born in Bonn, Riegel was the oldest son of the company's founder Hans Riegel Sr., who invented the gummy bear in 1922. The name of the company, Haribo, comes from the first two letters of his name and where he was from (HANS RIEGEL BONN). Riegel was captured and held as an Allied prisoner-of-war during World War II.
