Alfred Goulet
Alfred Goulet (June 5, 1875 – March 17, 1961) was a Canadians, Canadian businessman and political figure in Ontario. He represented Russell (Ontario provincial electoral district), Russell in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1922 to 1923 and Russell (Ontario federal electoral district), Russell in the House of Commons of Canada from 1925 to 1945 as a Liberal Party of Canada, Liberal member. He was born in Wendover, Ontario in 1875, the son of Godfrey Goulet and Maximilienne Boyer, and studied at the University of Ottawa. He married Florendie Sirois in 1896. He owned a general store. Goulet served on the council for Clarence Township, Ontario, Clarence Township and was township Reeve (Canada), reeve. He was elected to the Ontario assembly in a 1922 by-election held after the death of Damase Racine and was elected to the federal parliament in 1925. Michel Goulet
Michel Bernard Goulet (born April 21, 1960) is a Canadian former professional forward (ice hockey), ice hockey forward who played for the Birmingham Bulls (WHA), Birmingham Bulls in the World Hockey Association and the Quebec Nordiques and Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League. He was also a two-time Canada Cup champion with Team Canada. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1998. Playing career WHA Goulet played his first professional season with the Birmingham Bulls (WHA), Birmingham Bulls of the World Hockey Association, WHA during the 1978–79 season in which he scored 28 goals and 58 points. Le Goulet, New Brunswick
Le Goulet is a former village in Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada. Located several kilometres east-southeast of downtown Shippagan, it sits on the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Formerly an incorporated village, it is now part of the town of Shippagan. History The village was originally called New Jerusalem Settlement when it was initially settled in 1879. Le Goulet was incorporated in 1986. On 1 January 2023, Le Goulet amalgamated with the town of Shippagan and all or part of seven local service districts to form the new town of Shippagan. The community's name remains in official use. Yann Goulet
Yann Goulet (or Yann Renard-Goulet; 20 August 1914 – 22 August 1999) was a Breton sculptor, Breton nationalist and war-time collaborationist with Nazi Germany who headed the Breton ''Bagadou Stourm'' militia. He later took Irish citizenship and became a professor of sculpture at the Royal Hibernian Academy. Early career Goulet was born in Saint-Nazaire. Before World War II, he was a member of the '' Breton National Party'', and a former member of the French Section of the Workers' International (SFIO). His artistic career began at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, where he studied art and architecture and learned sculpture with Auguste Rodin's assistant, Charles Despiau. His works in France include bas-reliefs shown at the Exposition International de Paris (1938), and the monument to the youth of the French empire in Lille (1939). Timothy Goulet (born November 13, 1981) is an American professional stock car racing driver, crew chief, and team owner who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 31 Toyota for Rise Motorsports. He has previously worked as a crew member for Mike Harmon Racing, MBM Motorsports, and Jesse Iwuji Motorsports. Robert Gérard Goulet (November 26, 1933 October 30, 2007) was an American‐Canadian singer and actor of French-Canadian ancestry. Goulet was born and raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts, until age 13, and then spent his formative years in Canada.
