Godflesh Songs
The English industrial metal band Godflesh have released 189 songs; 129 are original tracks, 55 are remixes done by the band of their own songs and 5 are Cover song, covers. The group, initially composed of B. C. Green and Paul Neville (musician), Paul Neville, formed in 1982 as Fall of Because but did not release any complete music until 1988 after Justin Broadrick joined, became frontman and renamed the project Godflesh. Though their debut, a Godflesh (EP), self-titled EP, was released on a small, independent label named Swordfish, it was successful and drew the attention of Earache Records. After being picked up by Earache, Godflesh released the albums ''Streetcleaner'' (1989) and ''Pure (Godflesh album), Pure'' (1992) and were then acquired by Columbia Records. Following the disappointing sales of their third album, 1994's ''Selfless (album), Selfless'', and the ban of the music video for "Crush My Soul", Columbia dropped Godflesh, and the band returned to Earache. Roadburn Festival
The Roadburn Festival is an annual music festival held each April in Tilburg, Netherlands. It was founded by Walter Hoeijmakers and Jurgen van den Brand in 1999, who ran a stoner rock blog of the same name. The festival has been held at Tilburg's 013 concert hall since 2005. In the earliest years before that, multiple events were organised in a year throughout various cities in the Netherlands, such as Nijmegen and Eindhoven. It evolved into a multi-day event beginning in 2006, and shortly after, tickets began to sell out for the festival in under an hour as its audience grew internationally. The festival estimates that around 75% of its attendees come from outside the Netherlands. The festival has grown since its stoner rock origins and is now focused on various forms of experimental and extreme music: its motto in recent years has been "redefining heaviness."
