, also romanized as , is a Japanese word which roughly means to slog on tenaciously through tough times. The word is often translated as "doing one's best", but in practice, it means doing more than one's best. The word emphasizes "working with perseverance" or "toughing it out". means "to commit oneself fully to a task and to bring that task to an end". , also known as ''Doraemon and the Winged Warriors'', is a 2001 Japanese animated science fiction adventure film which premiered in Japan on 10 March 2001, based on the 21st volume of the same name of the '' Doraemon Long Stories'' series. It's the 22nd Doraemon film. Plot The film starts with Dekisugi, Gian, Nobita and Shizuka watching a televised broadcast about a herd of flamingos mysteriously disappearing, Nobita after seeing this, dreams of being able to fly with wings. He builds wooden wings after Doraemon refuses to help him, though he repeatedly fails to fly using them. While trying to help Shizuka to reclaim her pet canary, they witness a portal opens in the sky and a humanoid bird riding an airplane coming out. He introduces himself as Gusuke, a humanoid bird who lives in Birdopia. Doraemon, Nobita, and Shizuka help Gusuke fix his airplane, they quickly became friends with him. is a Japanese tokusatsu comedy family robot television series created by Shotaro Ishinomori and produced by Toei. It ran from October 4, 1974, to March 25, 1977, on NET TV. ran from January 31, 1999 (a week after the finale of '' Tetsuwan Tantei Robotack'') to January 23, 2000 (a week before the premiere of ''Kamen Rider Kuuga''). This series joined '' Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive''. December 10, 1999, Toei released the direct to video movie where the Robocon of the 90s meets the original Robocon from the 70s. , is a yonkoma manga series by Hisaichi Ishii which ran in the weekly '' Manga Action'' magazine from 1978 to 1979 in Japan. After that series ended, Ishii continued creating more baseball gag comics which were then collected under the title and released from 1985 to 1989. The main character of the gag comic series is based on (and named for) Kōichi Tabuchi, a Japanese professional baseball player. While in most instances, the character in the manga is referred to using katakana characters, the kanji used for the real Tabuchi were used in one instance. The Ganbare 35 is a Canadian sailboat that was designed by American Doug Peterson as an International Offshore Rule One Ton class racer-cruiser and first built in 1973. The Ganbare 35 is a development of the one-off Petersen-designed One Ton Cup racer ''Ganbare''. The name is derived from the Japanese term, meaning ''stand firm''. Production The design was built by Cooper Enterprises in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia and also by Martin Yachts, starting in 1973. A total of 35 boats were built before production ended. Design The Ganbare 35 is a racing keelboat, built predominantly of fibreglass, with wood trim.
