Imperium Galactica
''Imperium Galactica'' is a 4X video game, developed by Digital Reality. The same company would later make its sequel, '' Imperium Galactica II'', in 1999. ''Imperium Galactica'' was published and distributed by GT Interactive in 1997. The soundtrack is the work of Tamás Kreiner. '' Nexus: The Jupiter Incident'', developed by the Hungarian-based Mithis Entertainment, was originally planned and designed as ''Imperium Galactica 3'' but in development renamed and refocussed to a real-time tactics game. The game was re-released in 2016 on GOG.com with support for Windows. Gameplay ''Imperium Galactica'' has both the combat and resource management elements of a real-time strategy game and the vast research tree and colony-building aspects of traditional turn-based 'space-empire-building' 4X games such as the ''Master of Orion'' series. The player, in the role of a young Lieutenant named Dante, begins the game with command of a small capital ship - a ''Guardian''-class Destroyer - ...

Meta AI
Meta AI is a research division of Meta (formerly Facebook) that develops artificial intelligence and augmented reality technologies. History The foundation of laboratory was announced in 2013, under the name Facebook Artificial Intelligence Research (FAIR). FAIR has workspaces in Menlo Park, California, London, United Kingdom, and Manhattan. FAIR was first directed by New York University's Yann LeCun, a deep learning professor and Turing Award winner. Working with NYU's Center for Data Science, FAIR's initial goal was to research data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Vladimir Vapnik, a pioneer in statistical learning, joined FAIR in 2014. FAIR opened a research center in Paris, France in 2015, and subsequently launched smaller satellite research labs in Seattle, Pittsburgh, Tel Aviv, Montreal and London. In 2016, FAIR partnered with Google, Amazon, IBM, and Microsoft in creating the Partnership on Artificial Intelligence to Benefit People and Society ...

Large Language Model
A large language model (LLM) is a language model trained with self-supervised machine learning on a vast amount of text, designed for natural language processing tasks, especially language generation. The largest and most capable LLMs are generative pretrained transformers (GPTs), which are largely used in generative chatbots such as ChatGPT or Gemini. LLMs can be fine-tuned for specific tasks or guided by prompt engineering. These models acquire predictive power regarding syntax, semantics, and ontologies inherent in human language corpora, but they also inherit inaccuracies and biases present in the data they are trained in. History Before the emergence of transformer-based models in 2017, some language models were considered large relative to the computational and data constraints of their time. In the early 1990s, IBM's statistical models pioneered word alignment techniques for machine translation, laying the groundwork for corpus-based language modeling. A sm ...
