Gadap Town

	Gadap Town Gadap Town () is an administrative subdivision of Malir District in the northwestern part of Karachi with the Hub River on its western limits also forming the provincial border between Sindh and Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan, while to the north and east are Jamshoro District and the Kirthar Mountains. The amended 2022 Local Election Act introduced by the Sindh government had notified the town system in Karachi. Gadap Town, one of the three Towns of Malir District, comprises subdivision Gadap, Shah Mureed, Ibrahim Hyderi and parts of Bin-Qasim. 	Towns In Karachi Karachi, which is the most populated city in Pakistan, was a federation of eighteen autonomous boroughs, called "Towns," that made up the City District of Karachi from 2001 until 2011. Under this now-defunct system, Karachi had a local government system, with a mayor empowered to make decisions in regards to city-planning and administration of local services. The system was abolished in 2011, and Karachi was divided into 5 City District Municipal Corporations, with a 6th formed in 2013. Each Municipal Corporation now has its own Chairman and Deputy Chairman. 	Bin-Qasim Bin Qasim () is one of the six administrative subdivision of Malir District in Karachi, Pakistan, lying in the eastern part of the city, north of Port Qasim. It is headed by an Assistant Commissioner. Location Bin Qasim was located in the southeastern part of Karachi along the Arabian Sea and the Indus River delta. The town and the adjacent Port Qasim were named after Muhammad bin Qasim, the Arab general who conquered Sindh and Multan, establishing Islamic rule in the region in the eighth century CE. It was part of Bin Qasim Town, Bin Qasim, but in 2022 became one of the three towns under Malir District, the other two being Gadap Town and Malir Town. There are several ethnic groups in Ibrahim Haidery including Kutchi people, Kutchi, Sindhis, Balochis, Brahuis, Memons. Over 85% of the population are Muslims. Fish harbour Ibrahim Hyderi is a village of fishermen as well a fish harbour with many jetties for the fishermen and their boats. The fish is processed and sent to markets and bazaars in Karachi.
