Fu-Schnickens Songs
Fu-Schnickens were an American hip-hop trio from 1988 to 1995, based in Brooklyn, New York. History Fu-Schnickens was composed of Chip Fu (Roderick Roachford), Moc Fu (Joe Jones), and Pac Fu (Lennox Maturine). ''Fu'' stood for unity and ''schnicken'' was a made-up word that meant "coalition". The three friends from East Flatbush, Brooklyn, first gained attention after performing at a hip hop event at Howard University, after which the group was signed by Jive Records. The group's debut single, "Ring the Alarm", entered the top ten on the ''Billboard'' Hot Rap Tracks chart in 1992, which sparked anticipation for the group's debut album, '' F.U. Bugs Bunny is a cartoon character created in the late 1930s at Warner Bros. Cartoons (originally Leon Schlesinger, Leon Schlesinger Productions) and Voice acting, voiced originally by Mel Blanc. Keith Edward Elam (July 17, 1961April 19, 2010), better known by his stage name Guru (a backronym for Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal), was an American rapper, record producer and actor. He was a member of the hip hop duo Gang Starr, along with DJ Premier. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Lawrence "Kris" Parker (born August 20, 1965), better known by his stage names KRS-One (; an abbreviation of "Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone") and Teacha, is an American rapper from the Bronx. ''Nervous Breakdown'' is the second and final studio album by American hip hop group Fu-Schnickens. It was released October 25, 1994, via Jive Records. The album was produced by Rod 'KP' Kirkpatrick, Diamond D, K-Cut, Jim Nice, and Lyvio G. It peaked at number eighty-one on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. Release and reception ''Nervous Breakdown'' peaked at eighty-one on the U.S. ''Billboard'' 200 and reached the nineteenth spot on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
