A front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout (FR), also called Système Panhard is a powertrain layout with an engine in front and rear-wheel-drive, connected via a drive shaft. The is a Japanese personal computer built by Fujitsu from 1989 to 1997. It started as a proprietary PC variant intended for multimedia applications and PC games, but later became more compatible with IBM PC compatibles. In 1993, the FM Towns Marty was released; it is a game console compatible with existing FM Towns games. The "FM" part of the name means "Fujitsu Micro" like their earlier products, while the "Towns" part is derived from the code name the system was assigned while in development, "Townes". This refers to Charles Townes, one of the winners of the 1964 Nobel Prize in Physics, following a custom of Fujitsu at the time to code name PC products after Nobel Prize winners. FMR Records is a British record label. Founded by Trevor Taylor in 1987, it specialises in jazz and improvised music. Origins Taylor is a drummer and percussionist who became increasingly interested in avant garde music. In the early 1970s he started Future Music, which was a record shop that expanded to seven branches. He founded the FMR (short for Future Music Records) label in 1987. Label history FMR's first release was by saxophonist Tim Garland. This set the pattern for the label's early years, concentrating on British jazz musicians. Taylor also purchased the right to issue CD versions of successful albums released by other British musicians, including Mike Osborne, Howard Riley, John Surman and John Taylor; sales of these provided FMR with a financial boost. Francisco Martins Rodrigues (1927, Moura - April 22, 2008) was a Portuguese anti-Fascist resistant and the founder of the Portuguese Marxist-Leninist Committee in 1964, which was one of the country's first major Marxist-Leninist organizations. Rodrigues was imprisoned numerous times by the PIDE, including a long prison term between 1965 and the Carnation Revolution in April 1974. On January 3, 1960, he, Álvaro Cunhal, and eight others escaped from Peniche Fortress to the great embarrassment of the government. Ferromagnetic Resonance
Ferromagnetic resonance, or FMR, is coupling between an electromagnetic wave and the magnetization of a medium through which it passes. This coupling induces a significant loss of power of the wave. The power is absorbed by the precessing magnetization (Larmor precession) of the material and lost as heat. For this coupling to occur, the frequency of the incident wave must be equal to the precession frequency of the magnetization (Larmor frequency) and the polarization of the wave must match the orientation of the magnetization.
