Volgar FC () is an association football club based in Astrakhan, Russia. They play in the Russian Second League Division A (third tier). History The club has been known under following names: *''Pishchevik'' (food industry worker) (1925−1958) *''Trud'' (labour) (1958–59) *''Volgar'' (1960–94) (2012–) *''Volgar-Gazprom'' (1995–2007), (2010–2012) *''Volgar-Gazprom-2'' (2007–10) Pishchevik played in the Second Group of the Soviet League. Trud (and later Volgar) played in the Class B (1958, 1960–1967), in Class A, Group 2 (1968–1969), in Class A, Group 1 (1970), Soviet First League (1971), Soviet Second League (1972–1990), Soviet Second League B (1991). In 1992 Volgar entered the Russian Second League, played in the Third League in 1994 (finished top and were promoted), returned to the Second League in 1995 and stayed until 1998. Central Stadium (Astrakhan)
Central Stadium (, ''Tsentralnyi Stadion'') is a multi-purpose stadium in Astrakhan, Russia. It is used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of FC Volgar Astrakhan, Volgar Astrakhan. The stadium holds 21,500 people, all seated. The territory of the Central Stadium has long been used as a venue for various city and regional celebrations. Gazprom and Lukoil companies arrange their anniversary concerts here. Also, the Central Stadium gained extensive experience in holding large-scale holidays, including the Tatar Sabantuy, which received federal status. Large Astrakhan companies "Elko", "Leader" and others also use the main arena of the city of Astrakhan to draw their prizes. The venue hosted 2015 Russian Cup Final between FC Lokomotiv Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow and FC Kuban Krasnodar, Kuban Krasnodar. FC Arsenal Tula () is a Russian professional football club from Tula playing in the second-tier Russian First League. Originally founded in 1923, FC Arsenal Tula was promoted to the Russian Premier League in 2014 for the first time in its history after finishing as runners-up in the 2013–14 Russian National Football League. FC Ural Yekaterinburg () is a Russian professional association football club based in Yekaterinburg that plays in the Russian First League.
