Foussballclub Differdange 03 is a professional association football, football club based in Differdange, Luxembourg. The club currently competes in Luxembourg National Division, the highest division in Luxembourg. Founded in 2003, FDC03 played its home games in Stade Municipal de la Ville de Differdange, along with Stade du Thillenberg. History It was founded in 2003, by a merge of 2 clubs from the List of cities in Luxembourg, city of Differdange: FA Red Boys Differdange and AS Differdange. When the clubs merged, in time for the 2003–04 season, Red Boys was languishing in the bottom half of the Luxembourg Division of Honour, Division of Honour, while AS was in mid-table position in the third tier of Luxembourgish football. The new club took Red Boys league position, and was promoted back into the Luxembourg National Division, National Division in the 2005–06 season, when the top division was expanded from twelve clubs to fourteen. Stade Municipal De La Ville De Differdange
The Stade Municipal de la Ville de Differdange or simply Stade Municipal is a stadium in the town of Differdange, Luxembourg. It is one of the home grounds of FC Differdange 03, along with Stade du Thillenberg, and holds 2,400 people with 1,922 seats. History The stadium was constructed between May 2011 and August 2012. Michel Le Flochmoan
Michel André Yves Le Flochmoan (6 October 1951 – 10 August 2021) was a French professional football player and manager. After an amateur career as a forward with Mouzon, , and Entente Carignan-Linay, he became a manager. He notably coached Sedan and Virton, as well as Jeunesse Esch, which he coached to a championship in 2004. He then coached Dudelange to championships in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. He was coach of Differdange from 2012 to 2014, which won the Luxembourg Cup in 2014. He returned to Dudelange in 2015 and won the Luxembourg Cup in 2016. Playing career Le Flochmoan did not start playing football until the age of 15, when he began playing youth football with ES Pure-Messempré. He had previously been prohibited from playing the sport for medical reasons. In 1973, he joined Mouzon as a forward in the Division 3.
